Poor Driving Reports.

Beat Officers attended a Road Traffic Collision yesterday on A28 Bethersden, where the driver of the offending vehicle had collided with another and caused significant damage to both. This vehicle and it's driver previously came to Beat Officers attention 2-3 months ago in Ashford Town Centre after being located driving at speed and stopped after travelling the wrong way down a one way street. The driver on that occasion was reported for Driving Without Due Care and Attention and clearly hasnt learnt their lesson. Last night, due to witness accounts of dangerous overtakes and the nature of the collision, the driver will be attending the Police Station for interview at a later date with a case being progressed for Dangerous Driving. 

A reminder that dangerous and careless driving will not be tolerated by Kent Police. Coming into the Christmas Period, it's important that any concerns over the manner of driving and that concerns of drink and drug driving are reported directly through 999.
